I am a sales guy for RightScale – the industry leading cloud management platform.  As the founding member of the sales team I’ve been evangelizing the cloud value and technology for almost 2 years.  I’ve been on the front lines of the industry, and given the opportunity to be a Vanguard in a growing army of Cloud Warriors intent on conquering this billion dollar opportunity.  If we continue to do this right, the clouds will rain success upon us.

I’ve had the great privilege of working with and learning from some of the brightest minds in the field.  RightScale’s success is directly attributed to the visionary thinking and intellectual prowess of its founders.  Cloud computing has changed my life as I’ve ridden the incoming storm.  As a tool and as a utility for enterprises of all size, the cloud is clearly a revolutionary step in IT and will change the way companies do business and reach their customers.  Even still, we are only on the tip of the iceberg.

I intend to discuss issues surrounding the emerging cloud economy, the ecosystem (atmosphere? – certainly no shortage of puns in the clouds), and selling this paradigm shift.
